Millions in Coverage. One Relationship.
Protect more of your deposits without managing accounts at multiple banks. Echelon Bank's Insured Sweep Account automatically places eligible funds in deposit accounts at participating FDIC-insured network banks, helping you access millions of dollars in aggregate FDIC deposit insurance eligibility while continuing to work through a single relationship with Echelon Bank.
You retain convenient access to your funds, earn interest on eligible balances, and receive clear reporting showing where your deposits are held.
More Protection For Larger Balances
The standard FDIC insurance limit is generally $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. When your eligible balance exceeds the applicable limit at Echelon Bank, the Insured Sweep Account can distribute funds in increments below the applicable insurance limit among participating network banks. This structure is designed to make those deposits eligible for FDIC insurance at each receiving bank, subject to program terms and FDIC rules.
Echelon Bank coordinates the placement of funds behind the scenes. You continue to manage your money through your Echelon Bank relationship rather than opening and monitoring separate accounts at multiple institutions.
